Eee! I had so much fun in America! I wish I could live there all the time!

[info]marko_the_rat had a bit of a scare with me in New Jersey. He got off the plane but I didn't. I could tell how upset he must have been by how glad he was when the suitcase with me in it came back the next day. I'm glad he cares about me so much.

It was a close thing, but I got to Coney Island in time for the Mermaid Parade where I marched with [info]rapidtrabbit! I don't have any photos to show you, but it was a lot of fun (even in the rain) and a video of it should show up on Rapid's show eventually. I'll let you know when it's up. A few days later I got taped for an episode of Rapid T. Rabbit and Friends where I got to meet a very high profile rat! I won't tell you who; you'll have to wait for that episode to come out. (I'm such a tease!) I also met this nice lady with a big camera who had lots of friends with cameras and microphones. I love cameras! I went for a walk on the rough streets of New York with her. I wasn't scared at all--I had lots of people with me--and New Yorkers should be used to seeing giant rats on their streets by now.

They say, if you can fursuit in New York, you can fursuit anywhere! Of course, New York was just a warm up for Anthrocon. Anthrocon was a blur, but I do have lots of photos!

I want to say how grateful I am for [info]savant_da_rat and [info]harvardheinous's help during AC. I couldn't have done it without you guys! Of course, I had [info]foxwell taking care of me and Marko in New Jersey and New York, and that of itself is no small feat! I'd never have gotten to the Mermaid Parade at all if not for him.

Anthrocon was fun, but you won't believe what I got up to afterwards! (I'll save that for another post.)

Oh carp raining from the sky, you got stuck in storage with no-one to hear your squeaks of fear. Yeesh.

Ohh, I know who you met, and danced with, to a song, about 'you, you really know' though I always thought that there were more lines to the song than the two which kept repeating. Was quite confusing. Always remembered a 'you, you keep me warm at night' though it was never said.

Ha "and New Yorkers should be used to seeing giant rats on their streets by now", they are used to giant rats in their homes/underground systems, though possibly not as giant as you or walking upright using the hind digits on their streets. :p

Frankly though, I wouldn't really quantify 14 photos as 'lots' more like, 'a few'. Personally 'lots' would be around the 25-35 range, then you enter the 'heaps' with 45-75. But again, to each their own. And you probably actually have lots, if not heaps but many have not been uploaded yet. Heh, being 'such a tease' and all.

Will definitely be fun to read of your exploits. Hope to see you soon. :p
